Its possible, I checked the LJ parts catalogue and there are some pictures showing a 6 with the LHD specific clutch/shift arrangements. The front of the catalogue states that 6 cyl models 82311, 82369 & 82569 were available as LHD.

I am sure I have seen an old picture of a South American stunt driver who came over to Australia driving what I believe is a left hand drive LJ Torana, saw it in an old book.

I was watching the Bond movie " The man with a golden gun" on Austar and noticed some LHD Toranas in the car chase scene, they looked like they had 4cyl fronts though.

There were LHD LCs and LJs sent to the phillipines - I saw a few when I was there 10 years ago and some of the jeepneys you see on the road over there were still using the Torana running gear so you may be able to track one down but where you would search locally I don't know.

You could check with rare spares, I know they searched through other countries to find old stock many years ago, maybe they found some.

I'm pretty sure I have a pick of the dash of a LHD Torana. The pick is of an LJ version and from memory, they had the ignition barrel on the lower dash like the LC RHD versions. I will have a look and see if I can find pic.
