hey,
I am fitting a VP V6 5 speed to my LX hatch as many of you know. I have got the engine and it is being rebuilt now and will be ready in a week.
So now im in need of a conversion kit from either,
V6 conversions
or
Castle Auto- VIC
Has anyone had experiences with these two???
Anyone done a conversion and used one of these kits.
Just after any feedback.
Thanks Youngy
p.s. i won't be very active on the forum over the next few days.

I made my own... not that hard if you're handy with a welder ..... I used Holden V8 engine mounts on my set up, where as the other guys use 6cyl ones.
And did my own sump..... but I did have a dummy eng and gear box to put in and out a few times.....

Yes that is very good. Did u make your own engine mounts aswell.
Could you post up as many photos as possible of the engine, gearbox, interior photos of how much longer the gearbox is compared to an old one. etc.
Thanks Ryan

yeah i agree, if you can do it yourself thats the best way. I have had a few bits from Pat Gardner and i was happy with the quality etc.

yeah i agree that the qaulity is good if you buy a sump for a gemini it fits uc toranas as well and workmanship i great i adm it he could have sanded back welds a bit but fabrication wise they are good
