I've got two boosters here, each off a different build of LC (although maybe not original fitment). One has a small tag down low on the front which notes that it was made under licence by PBR to Bendix USA. The other is PBR but doesn't have the tag.
Can anyone explain why this is so?

The LC is likely to be the one with the tag
The one without may be a slightly later unit (LJ) or had the tag removed
I used to see alot of HK's and LC's with tags but not so many HG's or LJ's
Does the rod coming out the front sit flush with the cannister or is it protruded about an inch ?
Flush is LC protruded is LJ

Dattoman That pretty much fits for each of the cars.
The one without the tag is out of a Bathurst LC. It has a long rod.
The one with the tag is out of my 10/70 LC. It has the shorter rod.
Thanks.
