roller rockers

hi guys anyone know if roller rockers with 1.5 ratio rocker arm and a 3/8 stud would fit on a red 186 with a mild cam? the set is for a small block chev but I think they might work.... only $70us for set of 16 if they they work be cheap rockers
If It helps you can look at the spec a summitracing.com ( seach proform )

any help would be great as I am new to holdens a do not know what sizes and ratios are need

if the stud size of your 186 head is 3/8 then yeah you can use SBC roller rockers, however make sure it is before your buy, the alternative stud size is 7/16.

could you just get the 7/16" ones, if the head is 3/8" then at least you could tap out the stud holes to suit

They will be fine, Perfectune lists the same part number for both engines.

could you just get the 7/16" ones, if the head is 3/8" then at least you could tap out the stud holes to suit


Not that simple, plus it's bloody expensive.

not having pulled the rockers of a holden red, are the studs screw in or tapered pin?

The studs are pressed into the head from the factory.
