(SA) Holden Commodore Club Brocks Bday memorial

Hello there,
The Holden Commodore Club of SA Inc is holding a follow up cruise to last years very successful memorial cruise to Peter Brock. This year we will be holding it on his birthday weekend and we feel this is a better tribute to celebrate a life and not a death. Following are all the details mate and would be great to see some of you out there. Police will be in attendance to ensure there are no idiots ruining it and to ensure the traffic side of things runs smooth. Have there word they will not defect cars and are really only after the genuine hoons, not enthusiasts. If you need anymore info just let me know.

February 25th 2007
Meet at 10:30am, leave by 11:00pm
Meeting locations:
- NORTH - Regency Tafe' just off Regency Road
- SOUTH - Marion Shopping Centre on the corner of Sturt and Diagonal Road.

This cruise is to continue the memory of Peter Brock and to celebrate his birthday. It was decided to celebrate his life on his birthday rather than on his death. This is open to all clubs and types of vehicles who wish to join us on the day. Will be a very simple day cruise similar to last years and will be very low key. We will be having a BBQ lunch and enjoying the day with everyone reflecting on Brock's life and having a kick of the footy.

The club will be passing on all proceeds including those from last years event on to the Peter Brock Foundation in which Peter Brock proudly supported through out his years. www.peterbrockfoundation.com.au

Good to see it on here aswell as the commo forums. Went to the last Commodore only1 and it was excellent, though a shame his other babies weren't there aswell(all be it separate). Be good to get all Commodore/Torana/Monaro and Motor racing enthusiasts in general involved in this.
Could be a great celebration of Brockies life, and not the mourning of his death.Also be a good tradition...
