Now I can't get the interior mirror out. How does this thing work - I've tried pulling down and twisting but so far that isn't doing it

I got the windscreens out. Windscreens 2, seals 0
Now I can't get the interior mirror out. How does this thing work - I've tried pulling down and twisting but so far that isn't doing it ?

a typical rear view mirror is designed to fall away as your head tries to go thru it on its way to smashing thru the windscreen.
replicate this with the soft part of the bottom of your fist,nudge it towards the windscreen.

zook push mirror stem hard up and then bang it hard with the palm of your hand
