Humphey was a chick in the suit, same with Prime Possum
Unless info, Prime Possum has been 3 different people, one of the Horsey boys not Drew the younger one (I think) was the only male to be in the suit. Those on the Gold Coast might know who I am talking about. Pam Tamblyn/Tamblyn Models were the agent for both charaters.

man, there were so many of those characters when i was growing up! Big dog, humphrey, mr squiggle, aggro... Then there were the other ones on prime time- plucka duck, ozzy the ostrich, dickinee.
and fro anyone who remembers the show "romper room" it was the show with the lady and the bumble bee puppet. I WAS ON THAT SHOW!!!! yes me thats right, i dont do autographs...
Marilyn manson is actually one pretty cool guy, and very very knowledgable and interesting. saw a few docos on him, for all his weird/scary ways i give him two thumbs up
