Will get out the books later, but is the six cylinder wiring harness different to the V8 one? If so, is it just from the clip in the engine bay onwards to the engine, or is it more extensive than that? I imagine wiring in the cabin is generic across the whole Torana range.

pat,the difference is only in the engine loom.
however LH and LX are different in that the cabin loom in an LX extends down to the wiper washer bottle and LH only goes to the brake booster.
a 74 car has the loom clipped along the side of the bay around the back of the bonnet hinge. whilst a 75 car has the loom clipped along the engine bays wheel arch bulge(for want of a better description).
i bought a replacement loom from that e-bay guy and it fits really well. however on the one i got the temp sender and oil pressure sender wires were in opposite positions which was simple to remedy.
a manual car may need the neutral start switch wires run.
the loom to the horn will be different on LX due to the dipper controls.

Thankyou tah Arrimar. Yeah, it's an LX, not Yella, although it will have a couple of Yella bits on it.
