will a 4cyl lj steering colum fit into a 6cyl lc?

haven't done it but would be surprised if it didn't
have to be complete assembly, different steering shafts
will have to check wiring and plugs proberly different as extra wires in LJ, unless you want to still use ignition key in dash

the bottom of the steering column is a different mount

Tried to do the conversion myself, but with the 6cyl LJ into LC, didnt fit due to the key barrel on the column being in the way at the bottom of the shaft.
The mounts are interchangable themselves so it can be bolted in. (Well the 6 cyl models, i havnt tried the 4cyl)
The LJ key cylinder moves a rod up and down the steering shaft which (in the unit its connected to) creates a circuit and starts the engine, the rod and the unit its atached to are what prevent you from transfering the two columns. But im sure it would be do-able with a bit of patience and a few little "modifacations".

some one before i got mine put lj in my lc a few mods around the mounts (very rough i might add)near the steering wheel appears to be all they have done. if you need photos let me know and ill take some
