I know what you mean about Greg getting finding it impossible to get out of motor racing - I sold my last race car in 2003 when I sold the business I owned - and spent the next 2 years climbing the wall. I finally decided to go and buy the Group C A9X, now I've got this Supercar / Group A thing and I'd still really like to get something like a Group C XU-1 - relapse is worse than staying with the addiction!
I've got my road cars, which I really like, but I love the race cars!
I'll make sure I do a photo history and post some of the best shots.

Sell the kids! They bring good money these days!I'm actually retiring from racing it is just too much of a stretch on my time with 3 young kids to raise.

I thing the O Brien/Bosnjack car is still around under a tarp somewhere in Sydney, But did tweedie sell the PJ car?

I want to know if you are buying a transporter as that makes 4 cars for the Masters this year now does it???

A transporter would be fantastic, but the cost of buying and running a truck for 4 meetings a year is too high. I would rather put my money into the cars and do a bit of extra running around, the only problem will be doing interstate rounds when Group A and Group C split (if ever), I'll have to work out a deal with a car carrier company to freight one.
It is easy getting the cars to the Masters, cause I can take the 2 race cars on Friday and then tow the 427 out there on Sunday with a mate driving the road A9X - It's just at the end of the meeting that the running around gets a bit hard with having to tow 3 cars.
It would be great to put a tow bar on the road A9X and then it would only be 2 trips, plus it would look great to have the yellow Group C A9X hatch being towed by a yellow road A9X hatch!

Michael...we are now looking at the race truck to take the L34 and a trailer to take the LC behind it...I COULD NEVER imagine trying to do 4 cars in one meeting...you are a serious machochist!...and have a VERY understanding wife!...It is getting to ..if these guys want the cars at the meetings...they need to help out with the transport costs...Mark asked about the original Masters but it was a $1500 weekend...plus for me...basically to do a static display..as I didnt have a class to run in...its probably OK for Chris as they have a product to promote and sell but its real hard for a simple wage earner.Yeah, that'll be 4 cars at the Masters.

At the Muscle Car Masters I'd probably only race 1 car as long as Group C and A are combined. The real problem will be when, or if, Group C and A split because I'd really like to support both categories. I'll have to find a mate with a flat bed with a tow bar.
I'd leave the A9X road car with the A9X club member's other cars.
The HRT 427 would be left with the race car I'm not racing - on display - and then I'd get a mate (hi Red) to take the HRT 427 for the parade laps and probably let the mechanic who works on the car I'm racing take the other race car out in the Master Blast (or whatever its called).
Like I said, the only real problem would be getting them home on Sunday night.
As for my wife, Cal, being understanding - she doesn't know I own the cars! (joking) Cal really enjoys the racing and she also like the attention the cars get - She couldn't believe how many people looked over the HRT 427 at the Masters.
