Heya, just wondering if someone can tell me if all LC GTR's had a black interior
only or did they come in other colors?

I have seen like a white or & bone colour LC GTR trim.

Hi Dak good question, I would also be keen to know some of the more rare combinations for my own info.
LC GTR'S came in various trim and color combinations, most common is black trim but I have seen various cars with bone color interior-most of these have been Daytona Bronze in color though.
A friend of mine has a 71 LC GTR which is Indy Orange and has black trim with houndstooth inserts, another has a Silver Mist car with Antique Gold trim.
My car is Kashmir White with the standard black trim.

Mine came out with Verdoro Green metallic with Antique Gold trim. Still trying
to confirm what the dash pad colour should be if anyone knows? (presently black)
The sort of off white colour trim they came in is called Sandlewood .
I have also seen one that was Kashmir white with RED trim .

About 2 years ago a mate sold one LCgtr white/with cherry red trimKashmir white with red trim-now id like to see that!

Cherry Red Trim-very different, seen it in an S 4 door but never in a GTR. I have seen Blue LJ GTR door trims which were NOS wrapped in plastic not that long ago!

I have seen a pic of a HG painted in Indy Orange with oranage houndstooth and door trims

I have one that currently has a black interior (in need of a lot of work), but i believe it is the triple orange combination. It has 1199-45 L on the trim tag, which I believe is indy orange paint and indy orange trim with orange houndstooth.
From what i can tell, the seats should be orange vinyl and the door trims should be orange vinyl, with the orange cloth inserts. The headlining, carpet and dash should be black.
The only bit of orange vinyl left on the car is the strip that covers the pillar at the rear of the door. It has been painted black, but you can see that it is orange underneath. I have fished for some photos of a gtr with this combination it, but haven;t come up with any yet.
I do remember seeing one at a car show in victoria once, it was a few years ago and i don;t remember much about it, just that it really caught my eye.

Never seen an LC with that color/trim combo.
Restored you are sitting on plenty of $$$
I remember a guy here in Adelaide in the 80's with an LC XU-1 painted in Linamint with similar color Houndstooth trim. It looked great.

Confirmed indy orange 1199
15Z is indy orange black houndstooth
"interior trim 15 only available with comb 1192 & 1199" ref Monaro story/facts
During the HQ run there was also black green houndstooth for cars with green exterior so perhaps some LC/LJ's were also fitted with green interiors
