Hey, I am near finishing my 70 lc torana. I bought an xu1 dash a while back. However it doesnt have a circuit board on the back.
Looking at my "S" model circuit board, I found it displays VDO.
My question is does this company still produce these? If not, or if another business does it would be great to know. (Im located in VIC)

Cheers

Hi 70LC,
firstly, welcome to the forum. The GTR/XU1 dash doesn't have a printed circuit board like the "S", "SL" type dash, it uses individual wires for each gauge and the back lighting is also wired this way.
The easy way to fix it would be to source a GTR/XU1 loom, the other way is to add/modify your existing loom. The wiring thats missing would be for the tacho and the ammeter, as well as the extra earth wires for the lights etc.
If i get a chance i'll post the 2 wiring diagrams so you can see the difference.

Didn't the printed circuit board backs stop after 73 or LJ? My 73 LJ SL has wires on the back of the standard dash, not the circuit board.
