as the forum title suggests i am after a reputable engine builder to hlp me build up a 350 chev that is going to be very solid so that it will be able to handle forced induction down the track.
i am after a good shop that would be good on price or even a felow forum user that has good experience with engines.
What my planes are, is build up a solid 350chev (carby) that is solid that when it goes into the torrie i will be able to apply forced induction in the form of twin turbo.
any help with this would be great guys.
cheers

When I sold my business he went to Cave Hill engines. He has been there 15yrs and runs the business now, as the owner is part time 3 days a week.
I used Cave Hill engines while in business and know the owners personally and there is a wealth of racing experience in their old heads inc. formula V and HQ racing. Stuart did the machining on my Rangie engine and guided me with budget performance mods. I built the engine myself to save money. No problems.
He can rattle numbers and figures off the top of his head about any engine you care to name so be prepared with what you want when you call as it can be baffling

Stuart races a Turbo Bluebird and I was at Sandown today with him with the HSV club.
He once told me as a youngun "when I die, I want my ashes to be sucked down a four barrel and blown out the exhaust"
Is that enough dedication?

Mate, make "lot's" of calls, get quotes, ask questions about what they have done, what reference cars can they tell you about.Make the call and talk to the ones that know.
How long have they been in business?
In the end they will all have done something like what you want.
Get your answers and make your decision from their.
