what do people do when doing up a car? I wanna do my interior up original even down to the factory radio. The trims for the seat backs i have are cracked in a few places and a few small chunks missing at the attachment points, has anyone made a fibreglass mould of this part? what do people do?

Rare Spares is your friend with this one, Cane_ It.
I do believe they started making these not long ago...

I am prety sure rare spares are now reproducing these as of a few months ago - you see new ones on e-bay but they would be the rare spares ones anyway.
Ya sneaky bugger, beat me to it.

Haven't seen the Rare Spares ones but Eastern Auto Upholstery in melbourne was where I bought replacement fibreglass units from for my old A9X... They were a good fit and a lot stronger than originals.

I'd look into the eastern Fibreglass ones too. I have made them in the past from fibreglass and they are much better, and they look exactly the same when fitted.

Have a look at the thread in the Rares spares section in preferred businesses. I added pictures of how I modified the seat to stop the Rares Spares ones from breaking again..I have seen the fibreglass ones and the finish is ordinary.. The Rares spares ones look the part they just need the mods to be done..

The fibreglass ones I owned had exactly the same grain as factory, maybe there's more than one sort on the market.

Yeah, the ones I made you couldn't pick either as they were mouldedfrom originals. I've seen the ones Eastern made and they were well done.

They were Eastern Auto ones, maybe just a bad batch. Turned me off them hence me buying the Rares ones..
