We should give them away with a compulsary donation to:
A - contribute to the costs of the site
B - pay off the price of the sticker and production process
even if they object to it because of some crap like the Holden symbol...
Also, whoever is designing it, please don't put any cars on it. Symbols, words whatever but no pictures of individual Torries. The old one was really good.

yeha i am very kene to get a big sticker for the rear window of my hatch!
i know there has been porblems with them and not being abkle to be SOLD, but i am more then happy to make a donation to get one!

Thanks guys, Were currently working on a number of things that include stickers.
We'd love to be able to take donations for them as it would definitely greatly help offset the running costs of this site.
As some people know, we were kindly donated some stickers by SSDodgey on the old forum, and unfortunately due to the use of the holden lion Holden australia would not authorise sale of the stickers.
Were TRYING to talk with them to see if we can get around this somehow, and also looking at alternate designs for stickers.
We will keep you posted!

eyah, lukes stickers look good. when i get around to making the drag car it will have one on the back window...and a matching gmh-torry one would be nice!

I also like the old aircon stickers. Could use the GM rather than GMH since they seem to have a problem with promoting their product. Sticker looks asymetrical as well.

why not go with ur banner up the top??? romove the lion and the cars, and i think that might look pretty good.

Postal: I think the problem comes with printing multiple colours, the cost becomes prohibitively expensive! TO set up to do a relatively small run ( even 1000) would be rather expensive.
Toranavista: I like the airconditioning one actually.. that looks really good! I wonder of the GM "device" is a trademark ( id say it would be) and wether holden would have dramas with that.
Can only gather more ideas and put them forward to holden!

What the hell is Holdens problem. Most of the stickers would go onto a Torana which is made by them and most of them already have a lion on the grill. They dont even use the old lion anyway.

It is a bit of a shame shane, but their logo is their property and i guess if i were a company i'd be worried about what people did with it too!
Regardless, were trying to do the right thing by them as well as ourselves and make it a win-win situation for everyone.
There are heaps of ways of getting around it... but if we could do it with Holden's blessing, then all the better for us!

Just did this it's a quick one, not to good with this sort of thing.
Windows should be black and car white maybe use a black outline around car or maybe just a black outline of the car as a sillouette and of course the sticker should be in the shape of the car just an idea anyway.
Now this one you could have the red outline as a A9X and the blue outline as a XU1, just another idea, these outlines are not torana's of course just an idea from another sticker I saw.

Is that more the shape u r looking at? i designed this one at school a few years back, if it was needed i would freshen it up a bit for u, i got a few more skills in this area now since ive been at uni.

Yes thats what i was thinking it looks good but i was also thinking about haveing the XU1 over it as well, i think it would be good to have the 2 shapes of the Torana's on it.
