Very hard now. Yokohama still do them, but you have to wait till they get enough orders to do a run. I haven't found any others.

There's a longish post on this tyre size under the Tyre/Wheel Section.

I bought a set last weekend from Bridgestone. Brand new Eagers. Had to wait about 7weeks for them to come in but you can still buy them.

^ where they the 265's or just the 245's Rob? I believe there is still some stock of the 245's left, but they too are slated for discontinuation.

I need some 265s and emailed Bridgestone directly & was advised they no longer make them. So what's the go with Yokahamas, do I need to put in an order & wait for a run?

^ yup. I've placed an order for all four corners, just in case they decide to stop running em. Both Bridgestone & BF Goodrich have stopped making the 245's and 265's. I sent a letter to Bridgestone, they rang me with a very sorry, but that's just the way it is, as much as we love your old cars.

Have you tried Ebay or the Trading Post? I picked up a pair of 265's on 14" hotwires out of the trading post some time ago.

this may or may not help, i went through this process a few months ago. sorry guys but your all wasting your time waiting or looking for a tyre in that size made. I have plenty of mates in the industry and there not going to be made anymore, fat chance if yoko will make a special run just cause they have 10 orders or somehting. the best you can do is the mickey t's from rocket. i got mine for 250ea and i can stand on them as hard as possible and i find them lots better than the yoko's that were on the car. by the way they are 255/60/14
cheers

yokahama are now the only maker of this size, i am abel to garunteeee you this as iv had graham stewart [owner of bob jane modbry sa] chasing some up for both me and him. due to a factory fire in one of yokies plants sizes have had to be prioritized to meet curent demands, not good for mussel car owners/good for ricer pilots,,, mine now due in june shipment, getting 2 15\10 hotwires for rear just as insurance policy

Brand? And only just available. If talking Bridgestone Eagers, once they are gone, that's it. There are no 265's left anywhere in Australia with Bridgestones. The factory fire does explain heaps with regard to the delays with the Yokies. Maybe I/we or the forum admins should blast off a letter to Yokohama while they still have the moulds.
