I have applied some of this to my engine bay. When it has done it's thing what do I do? Do I remove it and the spray putty or do I leave it on and spray putty over the top directly.

Best to follow K&H recommendations, but if it were me, anywhere i could access i would prepare as per normal.

i've recently done the entire floor pan of a ht ute with that stuff, i left it on there and tar'ed over the top, i'm fairly sure you just prime as per normal when it comes to panels, if your really unsure give ya local crash repairers a tingle and they'll set ya straight.

^ well if you are going to top coat over the K&H stuff best you give them a call, or prep the area as per normal.
