The more time that goes by the more like a Vectra the concept THING looks.

276mm discs on the A9X
And the 2.6 diff wasn't exactly standard

I'd still take a TT36 .... even in pink

Just need to figure out how to lose those back doors

A9X = 2.6 --Standard?? Good question

147 with 2.6
260 with 3.08

I wonder what the option boxes were when you ordered one.

Having sat on the fence for the last 20 yrs in one A9X club or another. I even heard they ran out of 2.6 and had to supply the last of the A9X's with 3.08.

It was a ploy to make the 2.6 available for conrod straight but when the tyre diameters grew it was a waste of time.

Cheers

I guess this is the car you would buy if you liked both the hatchbacks and the 4 doors.

This is one Torana I'd love to get my hands on.

I notice in the specs that there is no mention of weight - I'll bet it would be a fat little f*cker.

I still reckon the A9X hatch was the last pretty car Holden built - except maybe for the Monaro.

the first 145 with 2.60 diff, the last 260 with 3.08. No option boxes to tick, you wanted something, the dealer fitted it. As darky said, the 2.60 wasn't used at bathurst
