Has anybody got a pic of the lower bush of the steering shaft out of an LJ Torana? I have modified mine and i cant remember how they are originally put together.
This is the bush which can be seen in the engine bay.
Thanks guys

There was no clip or anything it was just a tight knock in fit. The original one was well worn out and nobody seems to sell them so I machined that one up out of some UHMWPE.

ok because i was thinking of making one for an unmodified steering column, as opposed to mine which has been cut down.

I ended up getting a nolathane bush & pressing it in for my column.

Update status:Got nolathane bush of Allsprings Moorebank part no.425U.($3.50) inside diameter is 19.5mm for shaft(19mm) outer circumference 33mm(tube is 31mm).I'll linish the outer part to fit it in the tube & hopefully it will crush the inside part a little for a better fit on the shaft,if not the search will continue for another bush.
It was off some nissan thing forgot what it was.I copy/pasted it from that steering bush thread I started last year.
