HEy
i was just wondering if anyone knows how to wire up a 12v electric igntion system into a lx torana so it gets a constant 12v! not 9 volts like it would with the points coil!

I just needto knwo what wires behind the dash to modify!
any help would be appreicated

The resistance is built into the wiring from the ignition switch to the coil.
You can either replace the wire from the switch to the coil with normal wire or find a spare terminal on the back of the fuse panel that powers up (before the fuses) when the ignition is on and run a wire from there to your coil and just leave the original wire taped to the loom at the coil end. This way your mod. is easily reversed.
