Wow Stedz! A 13 something.... That'd be nice!
I'm hoping I don't break anything!!!
Getting new shocks, springs, slotted rotors and bearings fitted tomorrow, need a wheel alignment and I should be right to go. :spoton:
I just wanna have a relaxing day, catching up with members I don't get to see often enough.... like everyone!
A 17.99 would be nice, but I'll take a safe run where nuffin gets broken (on my daily driver)....gotta get home!

Good luck to all, let's make it as good a day as last year!
And take it easy getting there and home!!!

I'd like to make a pass in one of my cars, but I doubt any of them will make it.

Well, Last time i ran a 15.85 but had fuel problems.

Things i have upgraded

Went from a M21 to a tricked up trimatic.

Installed Extractors

Installed a 3.55 ratio 9inch (Last one was a 3.08 banjo)

Bought a new L34 Fuel pump (7psi of pressure) so that should fix the problems i had last year...

New 9.5mm leads and Dizzy cap, new spark plugs and gaps set

Getting it Dyno'd tune on the 26th!

Thats all i can think of off the top of my head. First i would like to break into the 14's, that would be nice....

So makka, what time do you plan on running? and will you do to your car? (cheat!)

I think that is about what 73LJWhiteSL ran last year with his 173 on gas. Isn't it Steve?

I ran a 17.97 running a stock 173, extractors, 2" exhaust, commodore electronic dizzy and 350CFM GRA carb.

Peter UC ran a 17.90 in his UC, basicaly stock 173 except he had the yella terra head and was on petrol.

I would predict a low 18 for Brad1979UC. :spoton:

Personaly I would like to see a 17.80 for me, but I think the 173s pretty much going as fast as its gonna go already. :tease:

I did gain 18.4 -> 17.97 simply by changing from PULP to LPG

My main aim is to make it there with the car in-tact!! I am racing at Heathcote this Saturday (21st) at the ESC drag day, then driving up yet again for the GMH day on the 28th. Allowing myself $400-$500 of fuel I reckon. It's been over 13 months since I've raced the car, and I've only raced my current combo once, so looking to run a new P.B.... if that happens I will be STOKED! I don't know if my MT ET Streets are gonna last too long either... they've only seen 1 drag day so far, but I stupidly fitted them for Springnats last year, and they copped an absolute caning on the skidpan all weekend. Starting to look a little worse for wear. Hopefully I can get both these drag days out of them ok.

Really looking forward to racing though, can't wait!!!! As always, way too many things I would like to do, but not enough time to do them (not enough daylight either). Man I wish I had a bloody shed!!!!
