Well, as the question marks suggest. I don't know whether you ever really finish, but finally got the Torrie painted and out of the shed. Just want to thank everyone for the help and suggestions during the process. Have posted a piccy on this website under Members projects, or if you want to see some more at my website. Jims Junk

Your project is looking great Jim. Learnt a bit about Cleco fasteners and repairing GTS steering wheels along the way. Nice work!

Yeah Tempest it was a little high, think it was no weight in in the front end for over six months, have taken it for a couple of drives now and it has settled, I'll post some more pics soon. Yella it is a shame your over the other side coz I had some prints of your car up on the shed wall for inspiration while I was doing it, and made me go for the round lights, ("but then I once drove me and me Bro to Port Augusta for a Pizza coz thats where I waz born and we hadn't been there for a while")and if I can talk Simmo's dad into coming with me we could probably hit Sydney. Would love to put one of Gloze's drop tanks in there but have just bought the chopper so funds are limited at the moment. Good thing today though, was just in at Repco in Mandurah today getting a couple more parts and a young bloke, working behind the counter has just got into a SL/R's, and will be checking out the website, so make him welcome, His name was Julian, good to see the dream lives on. Great Site Great people, Nuff said. Jim

Good to see that Yella's helping other Torries live on. Let us know if you are going to make Sydney.
You should be happy with the end product, looks sweet.
Happy cruising.
