Hi Les,

I purchased a set of four GTS centre caps for my wheels yesterday, and when i was at the shop asked the guy over the counter if any extra adhesive would be required for the stickers, he just said that after removing the backing paper they should just stick on.

I had a look on the individual boxes, to see if there was any further information on them, but it didnt say anything.

When i got home, i carefully placed the stickers on the caps and left them over night before i put them on the car.

I installed the caps today and took the car for a short drive, when i got home i found that two of the stickers were missing.

As i hadnt travelled far, i walked the route i took for the drive, and managed to find one of the stickers, but could not find the other one!

My question's are, was i meant to use any extra adhesive on this stickers? if so why doesn't it state this on the individual box's? and why wasnt i told at the shop when i asked about it? Also i have just had a look and i would have to buy four of these stickers for a cost of 50 or so dollars, and hope that this ones dont fall off, which as you can imagine is quite annoying!

Have you had this problem with them before? if so how was it overcome.

Regards Halil.

Did you clean the surface first, sounds like cheap stickers to me tho.

I have used the same metal stickers on my LJ's sprintmaster centrecaps (think they are the same ones). I had to trim them down so they would fit but they never came unstuck... Metho usually cleans the surface well for preperation for stickers. Maybe the adhesive had 'gone off' Not sure with these ones but it happens with paper stickers sometimes.

Hi Halil
There are about 4000 decals in the market place since we made them and this is the first we have heard off them coming off. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had this problem, in the mean time I will have it looked into
Regards
Les
