can this be done? and if so how. I am using the vr-vs manual ecu. I will be making a custom dash out of auto meter gauges so any info there will be great to !!

Hi shmack 1.
I assume you have converted your Torana to 5 litre EFI, using the 082 Delco ECU. If this is the case then, yes, the immobliser system can be by-passed so you don't need a BCM. The mem-cal just has to be re-programmed in the VATS section so it will start without needing the coded signal from the BCM. Most competant chip suppliers/programmers will do this for you.
I don't understand the question about the Autometer gauges, these are not affected by or connected to, the ECU or BCM.
