Does any one have any pictures of an LC GTR indy orange interior?

There is only two trim codes listed for indy orange, 45L and 45V, does any one know what the difference of these two are?

I have seen a GTR once with the indy orange interior and orange houndstooth a few years ago, didn't take any pics though. I remember it looked looked pretty loud.

thanks
Rob

No i don't have a nice closeup picture. If you took a picture of the best part in your gtr's interior, i would think that would be the best to send them.

gstar, Looking in the LC parts book for 40Z which you have lists one set of seat covers.

For 40L, which i believe is the newer version of the orange houndstooth it lists a different part number.

So i think that maybe your orange inserts are a more orange colour, to better match the sebring orange. And the ones for my 45L interior are a different shade that better matchs the indy orange vinyl and outside colour.

This is only my opinion, i haven't been able to come up with some pics to confirm this.

Here is my list of what interior trims are available for LC GTRs based on looking at the parts catalogs:

82911 - GTR 2 door 6cyl

Early GTR's
Black 40X Vinyl seats
Black 40Y Black/White Houndstooth inserts
Black 40Z Black/Orange Houndstooth inserts
Antique Gold 41X Vinyl seats
Antique Gold 41Y Black/White Houndstooth inserts
Turquoise Mist 43X Vinyl seats
Turquoise Mist 43Y Black/White Houndstooth inserts
Twilight Blue 44X Vinyl seats
Twilight Blue 44Y Black/White Houndstooth inserts
Sandalwood 48X Vinyl seats
Sandalwood 48Y Black/White Houndstooth inserts

Later GTR's and XU1's
Black 40V Vinyl seats - same part no as 40X
Black 40W Black/White Houndstooth inserts - same part no as 40Y
Black 40L Black/Orange Houndstooth inserts - different part no to 40Z maybe different shade?
Antique Gold 41V Vinyl seats
Antique Gold 41W Black/White Houndstooth inserts
Baroque Red 42V Vinyl seats
Baroque Red 42W Black/White Houndstooth inserts
Indy Orange 45V Vinyl seats
Indy Orange 45L Black/Orange Houndstooth inserts
Venetian Green 46V Vinyl seats
Venetian Green 46W Black/White Houndstooth inserts
Sandalwood 48V Vinyl seats
Sandalwood 48W Black/White Houndstooth inserts

thats a pity for you, not to sure what your next avenue is for obtaining the correct cloth for yours.

Good news for me,as that will be an option when i get around to getting the seats redone for my gtr.

I wonder if you could get black and white houndstooth and get it professionally dyed. I wouldn't think the black would change much and the white should take a color easy. Just a suggestion.

regards Rob

Hi gstar,

Could you tell me what colour they call the sample that they sent you.

you'll need to convert it but i'd get about 4 meters, you will have some left over, but it good to have bit more than not enough

you'll have to let me no how you go with them, never used them but gee they are cheap compared to the other mob..

I'm chasing orange houndstooth material for interior code 40L. The old man has it in his GTR,but it needs to be redone as it is old. Can you still get this material and where from?

Cheers

qstar,

40L is like a yellow / orange houndstooth. As opposed to being a deeper red orange.

Of those three samples on page 1, it looks like sample A - the one on the right... I have just got in contact with that SMS mob... I have asked for a similar sample... if it is identical... we'll go with that.
