Hey Guys,
Because of these new P plate laws im Just wondering if i could fit a worked Holden 202 in a TG Gemini?, Also what would be a good Transmission to suite? and how it would go? :S

lot of work as the firewall has to be recessed due to the length.

think this would be over the power to weight ratio anyway.
V6 conversion looks better. but doubt that would be p plate legal.


is a 253 LH etc P plate friendly?
is there a list somewhere?

dont mean to start a feud, but there are reasons for these laws.

we cant drive any V8, Supercharges or Turbo's. i was just wondering what a good 6cylinder for a gem

think the list of cars you can drive would be smaller, even have turbo diesels listed! whats wrong with these people! no fun at all.

seen a few 202 gems yrs ago, coupes mainly, go very well due to the 750kg weight. 200kg less than an LC coupe.
bend the torque tubes though.

is the list the same for vic?

Buick V6s are good because they're not nearly as long as a 202 (obviously, because it's only a V6). There are places that do the conversions professionally ...so it wouldn't be hard to get the necessary parts or advice I gather.

A 3.8 backed by a T5 would be a nice combo.
