Hey guys just wondering what changes do I have to make to the loom to change from a 6 to a V8
I've seen V8 conversion looms on ebay for about 60 bucks. Are these really necessary ?
or is it just a few little changes I can do myself
cheers, Dan :D

they really are not needed... unless you cant extend the 6cy wires or you have too much money or just lazy.

the wireing for a 6 and an 8 are exacly the same... only the v8 may need some extensions added onto the wire/wires.

the opportunity to replace old, dirty, brittle wiring in one go,without joining, was attractive to me and for 60 bucks cheaper than any auto elecy would charge.

the seller was very surprised to hear the blue and green wires for temp and oil were in the plug back to front and we figure it was a one-off.

all up it fitted really well and works perfectly.
