Does anyone know if 14x9 1/4 hotwire rims with a 245 or 265/50 tyre will fit onto the front of an LX Torana. I need to know if the rims will hit the upper control arm (frt and rr) when turning lock to lock..

At the moment, it is a standard V8 LX front end fitted with HX stub axles and HQ-HZ discs. There are no calipers fitted yet and will fit what what ever is required. Car will probably get lowered but don't have any idea as to how much as it is a long way away from being put back together. My main concern is whether or not the inside of the rim will hit anywhere on the front end when tured full lock...

G/DAY
AS TO YOUR QUESTION YES THEY SHOULD FIT NO PROBLEMS, YOU WILL HAVE TO USE THE 245-50, I SEE YOU HAVE NO FLARES FITTED THIS WOULD BE A REQUIREMENT.
