picked up 4 dr LC and have decided to transplant 253 and 4spd from LX into it
worked out most of conversion and gathered parts but need to know what springs anyone has used, front and back
want to keep close to standard height

i have standard lc rear and lc/lj pedders heavy duty lengthend ones in the front handles alright too

I have std height pedders up front and bmw superlows in the arsend.

I used the pedders v8 springs which are basically just 1in higher 6cyl springs,maybe even a heavier poundage.On the back I kept the std lc springs,handled nicely enough.

1 inch lowered springs will actually lower the front by 2 inches so its best to use standard height aftermarket springs such as King or Pedders, etc. If you go for standard height 6 cyl springs in the front lowering it by one inch, then go for 1 inch lowered springs in the back to match up. If you go for lowered 6 cyl springs in the front, lowering it by two inches, then go for superlow springs in the back to match up by lowering it by 2 inches.
