Just wanted to know if any of the females are entering THEIR cars in Toranafest this year. Two of us are bringing our cars from Brissy/Gold Coast and wanted to see who else was going to be there and be interested in a female owner/driver display.

Tried to convince hubby the other night that I should go but he wouldn't come to the party (it's times like this there needs to be a bridge over Bass straight). Go on girls get behind this idea I would so love to see pics of a whole section of entries from female owners. Good idea Kel.

Darn I'm going to nag some more tonight would love to meet you guys (and your cars too of course) in the flesh.

I am taking my LJ two door Torana to the Fest ,would be interesting ,a female section would certainly be a unique way to celebrate Toranas forty years, would that mean our partners would have to detail our cars??While we have coffee. Cheers mouse 1

You'd be better off to do it yourself then it would be done right.

Although when I had mine in a show once hubby did do all the polishing and I'll give him credit she was shinning.

Depends on where in Brissy, I mean if you were a long way northside your looking at longer. We are southside and estimating 9 hr good run, 10 hrs maybe. If towing a car trailer and taking it slow well thats another story LOL.

We are towing and have a 2yr old so will be a slower run with lots of pitstops LOL.

Oh and as for the guys detailing the cars ???? I do my car myself, as Rana Girl said it gets done properly then hahahahahaha.
