Engine looks great (having truble starting my V6 in my torrie too so you're not alone!). What are you doing to the recaro's? Making base plates to fit the torana?

hey,
Yeap made those base plates out of steel pipeing... then bolted them to original holes in the seat.... then the torana rails will bolt to the base plates... hopefull ill have at least one seat in tomorow... the hight of the seats should be perfect

Lets hope we can get out motors running soon :D

cheers,
nathan

haha Best of luck to both of you on that one. 16" is bloody big for a thermo, what type of fan is that and what radiator is it neatly mounted to?

BTW the red colour coding of the coils, extractors, head etc all looks really great together, good luck with the project Nathan!

Thanx heath and highrpm

Is quite a large thermo fan, but fits the comodore radiator well. it isnt hard to fit the comodore radiators and there quite abit better then the standard torana ones. unfortunatly it didnt come with a thermal switch so ill have to just use a standard switch for now.
Not sure what brand it is, but was a very good price and im sure it will perform ok.

cheers,
nathan

Very impressive Nathan! Keep em coming. Are you doing the exterior blackouts before the body colour? or do you just mean some black around the pillars and stuff?

Must be proud with your efforts Nath; that looks great!

Tail lights are very nice too, they look like an original taillight, but with the flaw removed; they don't look like some cheapo ricer 'masking effect' which would suck, congratulations with the result.

thanx Heath

Very proud, cant wait till its finished, not long now

Thought about putting in black vertical lines on the tail lights but i didnt as it would look like a ricer, they dont look so much like bubbles now :spoton: should look even better once the chrome eventually goes on :D

cheers,
nathan

Yeah I reckon the chrome will look fantastic around the black

When i get some time i'll do a little PS mockup of the black vertical lines that you're talking about, and show you what I come up with mate.
