Hey,
As the forum has been down, I have been wasting some of my time on the RTA site making up number plates.
The torana is going to be fitted with a 3.8l V6
So far I have come up with,

LX 3800

LX 38 LT

INJ 73D (Injected)

EFI 38L

TUV60F (TUF V6) hehe

Ummm there were heaps of others that were already taken haha,
like

TUF 38L
IN 54 NE (insane)

Any one got any other ideas.

The layout for the plates are 2 letters, 2 numbers, 2 letters.

Eg. MY 78 LX

Or 3 letters, 2 numbers and 1 letter.

EG. WOG 80X

LOL

Or the usual three letters and three numbers.

EG. RCE 801 (rice boy) haha

Cheers

As ashamed as I am to admit this, I love trying to work out what people are trying to say on their plates. Here's a few I thought of for you...
LXV 638 - expains itself, I think
AV 67 OR - A V6 TOR
BO 01 KV - BUICK V
ECO 73 C - ECOTEC
ECO 73 K - ECOTEK
EC 07 EC - ECOTEC
AI 10 YV - ALLOY V
A few of them are grasping at straws, I know, but I'm particularly fond of the Ecotec/k trio, even if yours isn't an ecotec, no-one will know.
I wanted to put a VN V6 and 5 spd in mine but I couldn't convince my old man to help me do it, as he's an auto electrician his help would have been invaluable, so I ended up building a 202 to run unleaded instead.
Best of luck with your project, I can't wait to see it finished (if you could ever consider your car "finished", I know mine will always be subjected to modifications as long as I own it).

How's about:
VNM 07 R - VN MOTOR
VPM 07 R - VP MOTOR
VQM 07 R - VQ MOTOR
VRM 07 R - VR MOTOR
Etc, etc, depending on where you get your engine from.

HAHA.

I recon the rebuilt V6 would flog a mild 253.

And would go close with a 308.

But all depends what work you have done.

I just won't be filling up the tank every 200kms haha.

Back on subject, some good ideas coming up, will have a bit more of a ponder tonight while watching origin.

cheers
