Hi all,

I need ideas for a birthday bash for Rubys 30th. Her make date was 6/76.
i was all excited as i heard of sitsubishis test track here that they lease out for club days, BUT due to insurance issues :furious: they no longer let anyone use it. I tried reeeeeeeal hard.

Sooooo i need help. Something different

Which plant did the car come from? If Close by take her for a drive to her birth place. Make sure she is all washed and polished. My cars bday is this month 1/76 The big 30!!!

Youngen's, Ole Yella is 32 in March.

Maybe buy her a bottle of fortified octane boost and let her let her tyres down a bit. Maybe a nice wheel alignment and lube job. You can then take her to a nice drive through and take her to a nice secluded carpark, preferably by the water, for dinner. After that cruise around so she can flash her Holden bits at all the passing Fords.

Ole Yella just went out and thrashed a few ricers for it's 30th just to show its dominance (it's non-sexual). Being bit of a beast, it's not that sophisticated, and easy to please.

You could also give it a full manicure (clean) and vacuum in the morning so she's feeling on top of the world.

^ other than the above, Ole Yella just turned in early for the night in its shed and cooled it's extractors.

How about a heart transplant? I bought over the Trimatic and exhaust system. I assume you do have a 253 to go with that?

How about a professional car detail. These guys do an amazing job. Bit like getting your nails and hair done :D You can take some party pics after and the detail will help make the transplant all that much easier.

 thanks for ideas guys.

I am after something suitable to involve HTC and possibly SMASA clubs. Ruby is a socialite and would like lots of her cousins to be at her party.

looking for something different than a cruise.

i am making some calls today.

cheers.

this is where you miss the old forums, isnt there something in the VIN that says where it was made?

Yes the VIN # central tag. It uses a J# to determine the factory where RUBY was made.

J# is melbourne, number after determines which production line. Can't recall the other plant letters, but can have a look if you need.

Get all your friends to hide in the garden and when you get home that night have a surprise party! I could see Ruby's grill smiling from head light to headlight!

 Ok i have found something. June 11th Kadina Show and Shine/ swap meet and trash and treasure (now thats my kinda show).

Entry details r being finalised and the organiser is postin me an entry form as i type.
Expected cost $15 entry for show and shine which will allow u to nominate for 3 categories, judging at 3.30pm, Cars to be in by 9.30am.

I am looking into accommodation as this is the long weekend so I reckon I would organise a cruise up there on the Sat, and stay sat and sund nites.

this is their 3rd event and the organiser says weather has been reasonable to good each one.

So there finally!!!!!!
