was thinking of buying a LJ 4cyl and turning it into a xu1 mock up. have read previous topics about this and have gathered that it requires a lot of work. the idea would be to change the front and put a 202 in it but im not sure on exactly how much work would be needed and what would need to be done for this, as well as costs.

any help or suggestions would be good

there is heaps of differences. personally i wouldnt bother even trying it.
also there is no sheetmetal behind the backseat in a 4 cyl chassis.

a 4cy car would make a good base for a full tube chassis car, thats about it

The bootlid and rear guards will fit a 6 cylinder.
