Cant get the link to work. get on the dragway website . just type in dragway on google.

they look like they are chrome (on the site) where your cones look like a matt finish and the outer is chrome?

Are they a Matt finish or just dusty??

The web address is an easy one www.dragway.com.au. Can't find a list of available sizes there any where but if you go to their contact page and chuck them an email I am sure they'd tell you.

Replace the lot with the draglite 5 spokes they would look hot or somewhere there it said you could design your own (hate to think the $$$ that would cost).

Any wheel shop that builds wheels can replace the chrome outer rim, you be looking at $200 to $250 depending on size and labour. If your in Sydney i would give you a couple of numbers to get quotes.

thing is i want to complete the set so that i can sell them or even keep them for later.
its a pretty dull finish on the spokes, the aluminium would probably polish up alright tho.

Yeah, i got a quote from dragway a few years back, and they did want to charge an arm and a leg. I agree, that the best bet is to get the new outer band, that way you can get your perfect offset etc. Not sure, but you might be able to even step them out to a 15inch rim?

Dragway still make all their mags shown on the website. The prices start getting very pricey from 16inch and bigger. An email to them will let you know of prices, they replied to my email within 1 working day.
The following prices for draglights were given to me by Dragway a few months ago, Im guessing 5 spokes would be similar in price,

14x5 $390.00 each
14x8 $404.00 each
15x6 15x7 $438.00 each
15x8 $460.00 each
16x7 & 16x8 $640 each

Billet Wheels:
16x7 & 16x8 in the DB18 Billet wheels are $640.00

you should be able to buy the outer band and rivets to attach which will save you some dollars....

So it seems replacing the band is goin to be a better option.

If the spokes themselves have been bent, will these be able to be repaired?
I wasnt sure if bands can be changed on these style dragways. The spokes have a steel insert that is welded to the outer band, but i guess this can be ground away and rewelded.

must be very old, original dragways, mine are just bolted together.
It would be pretty hard going to bend the center spokes.

I guess if they are going to replace the band they would be able to fix the buckle reasonably well.

Yup, still available. I have a spare 9" band here. They are two piece. The only problem is that when they push out the cast centre they scratch the outer. And yup, they are not cheap, but you get that.
