Torana482HP - if you are going to the trouble of upgrading, the added cost for 1/2" isn't that great, and then you have scope for further system upgrades.
It may require a bigger pump at the tank, depending upon what you have already, tho.

There was a thread on here (probably the old forum), but the same topic came up and people on here stated that its illegal (in NSW atleast) to run a flexible line as in rubber or braided hose. The same copper argument came up and it there was a good reason which was explained, I think it was more along the lines of it contaminating the fuel. But all i remember was that I had planned on running a braided 1" fuel line under my car and after reading the thread I was under the impression that it was totally illegal and that a solid line needs to be ran under the car.

Does anyone recall this? It wasn't all that long ago.

QIKSLR - I am pretty certain that is correct.
If the car is going to be registered, then it needs hard line up the length of the car.
Flex can be used after entry to the engine bay, and joining the tank to the hard line (eg. from sump at tank rear to pump/filters, to main line).

Might have to check that with QT/RTA/VicRoads.....

Ive spoken with Mark from Motorsport connections, and he assures me that flexible Rubber line ( fuel hose of course) is perfectly legal to run teh length of the car.

I'm using Pushlock line in -8AN which i belive is 1/2" ID. using all teh speedflow fittings and their special clamps has been expensive but it all works well.

Ive made sure that its well fixed and anywehre it can rub has been covered so there are no sharp edges.

Cheers.

Does anyone know if there is an off the shelf braided line to go from a Holley double pumper to the Holley regulator and if not, can anyone recomend somewhere in or around Dandenong to make one up at a reasonable price.

enderwigginau, ive got a holley black pump that ill install when the lines go in and i was thinking of using a BG Bypass regulator in the system. now i know the regulator has 1/2 in fittings but im not sure about the fuel pump. Would 1/2 in be overkill though?

The black will supply enough pressure for the 1/2" lines so why not.
You just use regs to keep the pressure where you need it.

The smaller pumps may not be able to keep up.
