G'day have been on the GMH torrie site for a few years now, ive still got my purple LX torana but i know there is bloody good advice givers in the gmh torrie forums so here is the description and question......
Ive just finished building an injected 355ci Stroker for my HJ 1 tonner, Now the engine is in and i have plugged in the wiring loom, but i cant get it to start! Ive spent 3 days diagnosing, testing voltage, swapping parts, checking continuity, testing and diagnosing some more without success.
Now what im after is an auto elec in melbourne who has had experience withing wiring in Injected V8's. Can anyone please give me recommendations as to who i need to speak to so i can get this baby running.
Cheers and thanks in advance
Benny

Do you have a wiring diagram to follow?
How are the earth connections for the E.C.U to body and body to engine?

yep i do have a wiring diagram (3 actually) and have followed them all, the ecm is earthed directly to the engine, the motor does crank, the fuel pump relay works, the loom was done years ago when the EFI5.0L was first fitted to the ute, worked without a problem, there isnt any spark and the injectors are not firing (pulsing). thanks for the info Pip you have been PM'D.
Cheers fellas and any other suggestions appriciated.

certainly is.
fault testing the ignition system at the moment, possibly the ignition module has packed its bags... a few more tests and i shall know
