I have ordered a washer bottlle weeks ago and still havent received it , after hassleing them where is it ,OH we dont have them in stock have to wait till we get them in ,but they took my money straight away , i could have got them quicker by internet ebay but as i was advised that they had them i ordered from them , warning dont buy from Brisbane Rare Spares ,i am going away for awhile next week so wont get it if at all for a month now so that will be 2 months of waiting last time buying off Rare spares , This is a warning dont deal with them < TREX

A bit unhappy TREX?
1 bad experience wont stop me using a company that does what it can do supply obsolete parts.

A touch harsh.

once you have dealt with the brisbane mob you would understand, i have and never again, the guys in sydney, melbourne ..GREAT,...brisbane never !!

I apologise for the delay but we only received stock in Melbourne on the 10/07/07 that is if you are talking about 7434262A with the push in cap. This part number was not available on eBay before then as we have just made it, you can keep up-to-date by subscribing to our new products info release at http://www.rarespare...be/default.aspx
If it was another number them I can not explain the delay once again I apologise for any inconvenience

That is your choice you are free to buy from anyone who gives you good service, but remember that if you buy online through GMH-Torana it helps this site and its not serviced out of Brisbane.

I ordered of the internet and was directed to the Brisbane mob ,i have now had numerous people tell me the same thing get it from another state not QLD but that doesnt help . it was a mod on here that put me on to where to buy it and i ordered from a link from here , Now as i am going to NZ i will probably do my money as it will never arrive if not here return to sender and wont be any one here to pick it up for me , NOT HAPPY , this is the 3rd time i have ordered some thing over the net lately that has taken over a month to arrive and yet last Sunday i ordered a complete brake kit new rotors and brakes from a mob Full Boar on internet , paid Monday they sent Wednesday here thursday ,i highly recommend this mob , TREX

Rightio looks like this forum realy works ,the boss of Brisbane rang personally and said sorry bit of a stuff up will defineately be in post on Monday , thanks for help Les and tell Brisbane bloke thanks but as i explained to him needed it weeks ago to do a photo shoot so that it could be sold on a web site , I have missed out now but will get it done when i return , once again sorry to have ago at rare spares but i wasnt getting much progress a was a bit peeved of . SORRY LES , TREX

I too am not so impressed by the Brisbane store. A few things I have ordered from there have taken too long to get (a washer bottle being one of them), been the wrong part or just of poor quality. And every time I call them to sort an issue out, I get the same response: "That's the first problem we've ever heard of with that part, and we sell hundreds of those, mate..." Yeah, right!
However I have bought several things from there that have been spot on exactly what I wanted, of high quality and didn't take too long to get.
So in conclusion, it's not easy to get a lot of Torana parts, and they are probably doing the best they can to help people like us.
I will say this, though; they should dedicate more floor space to stock as it seems that they never have anything "on the shelf at the moment" and have to order everything in, and when they can't give an accurate time frame of how long that will take, it becomes very frustrating, especially when you're trying to get something done quickly.
