Looks magic RODOMO, you and the lad must be proud!
Nice clean engine bay too, as in uncluttered and not full of aftermarket bling!
Just on those tail lights, I have been playing about for a while on what
could replace those. What do you think VB omodor (LOL) lights would
look like? Little bit of LH/LX with a bit of extra length and the reverse
light bit. The chrome surrounds would also finish it off nicely.
Well done on the build up.
Cheers, Leakey

I think if you measured up VB lights you would find they are smaller. Maybe VH VK? I think they are a bit higher and longer.

These are Tremor's VH Rear lights on a UC Hatch from the Canberra Torana Club, Tremor's is the only Commodore I saw with decent photos.
Remember that when i put these on the image, I just made them the size I wanted, so they would not look identical to this in real life; the size may differ. The space between the lights is identical to their placement on the Commodore, and the proportions are correct even if they don't match the UC rear end. Hope this gives you an idea.

Yeah, not bad HEATHy, but my point about VB tail lights
is that it is roughly the same vintage, especially the thinking
and actual designers of the period.
Here are a couple with VC tail lights which look really right IMHO.
Photoshopping is the easy bit!!!!!!!

I take it all back that looks grouse (for want of a better term). Hmmmmmm what about a VK grill and headlights? Make your own 2 door Toromodore? Better than those Adeyers? that were getting around with the fairlane headlights.

How about VL Calais side skirts?
(they fit, I had some on an LX hatch once)
Rubber strip along front apron?
Is this getting off thread?
