(I told him this..Did he doubt me?)...We all have promises of updates as Dutton Victoria progresses on Friday 31st...Watch this space! :spoton:

Scrutineers want a 2kg one or two 1kg ones. We are very close. Will take some pics tomorrow and post. And they said I was too old for this!!!!!!! R

What do you do with the hair dryer. How does that help.

Heat it up enough to make the vinyl shrink and the glue stick.

Very soapy water to apply..allows you to slide the sticker into any place you want....plastic paint scaper to remove bubbles..Thats 25 years of doing Dunlop stickers...

Was checking the site out for the pics, but it isn't till this weekend. Here's one from when the event was a bit cheaper to enter (2005).

Good luck with it, PM me if you want any tips, i.e. watch the double combination curves, don't use Ethanol Blended fuel in the old girls in competition!!!

Doing me proud!!

RRS took it tentatively on Day one..feeling his way and learning the car.
Day 2 at Winton he scared the sheet out of them...Currently 71 out of 143 competitors in the oldest car in the Rally. I am firing instructions via SMS and he is gaining more confidence in the car everytime he sits in it. I expect he will climb up the field a fair bit yet and surprise quite a few so called supercars of the modern era. He says it blew them away at Winton with sight and sound. Told him to brake later and trust the handling..
Go RRS!

Went great guns today. Awaiting news on just how well, but, I think we built on yesterday. Did all Torries proud and when you see the provisional results tables and you are ahead of names such as Porsche, Ferrari, Evo and WRX, it makes you feel good. Most importantly, had a ball and she screamed down the front straight at Sandown today at 130 (ish). Wow. Here's a few pics. Cheers R

Absolutely 130 MPH. The Yellow Dolly only knows MPH. She was howling at just under 6,000rpm.

Coming off the back straight, down through the wiggles and hard left is the bit that is difficult I reckon.
