Tacho wiring on a VP como?

Guys anyone know how to wire a tacho on a V6 VP commodore?

With the coil pack system its got me stuffed.

mate there was something in Street Comodores magazine about this about 5 years ago...something about getting a feed from the loom around one of the strut towers. Go on the SC forums and you will get ya awnser pretty quickly hopefully, i had the magazine but gave it and a fair few other SC mags to a mate so cant help u there sorry

if you are changing VP to VP 'S' pack dash, they are already pre wired into the harness!
(they are in the VS anyway)

Hi Guys.

There is a tacho wire available in the engine bay. It's the single terminal brown wire near the LH strut tower, bonnet hinge area. This wire gives a -ve coil type pulse that will run just about any tacho.
