On driver strength its hard to go past Skaife/T.Kelly but I don't think much of some of their strategies lately and I wouldn't be surprised if one of the Toll/HSV cars brings home the bacon.
On the Ford front it's hard to look past Lowndes in what will most likely be a wet race.

Some of what they said was a bit rough considering I had my youngest daughter and my nephew with me (both 12) both big Rick Kelly fans.
Oh well, chalk that up to experience, don't go and watch the presentation next time.
It's hard to know exactly whats going on all day when you're there and not in front of the TV, but my main observations were that Rick Kellys car had a bad start and started slowly then toward the end of the first stint it was going fairly well, I still don't know for sure but I think The Rat started the race and Rick did the 2nd and 3rd stint, if this is what happened, I think it was a good call, especially if it had rained properly at the end.
Todd Kellys car had a good first session but the co driver lost a fair amount of time before Todd (who must have got over his gastro yesterday) had a good run to the end. If Skaife and Todd had been able to race together I think they could have given Lowndes a good run for his money.
Anyway the best driver combination won and good luck to them for their driving and tacticts.
Anyone else go ?
