Have I gone mad? Only you can decide. Seriously I am after a Vauxhall dismantler. Pref Melb, but will travel as far as needed to get the parts I'm after. Don't bother asking what I'm looking for, I'm not telling yet.

Try "Spares Galore" in F.T.Gully formally Hillman spares. When they were in Blackburn they had heaps of different pommy stuff for all makes and models. He used to go to all the clearence sales and auctions here and O.S. bringing in container loads of obsolete stuff. Most of it went to F.T.G with them. There is also a smaller place in Thornton Cres Mitcham but I don't know its name.

Are we talking something off an early Velox here?

Spares Galore will get back to me when their pommy stuff expert returns to Australia in a couple of weeks. In the mean time, is there another place that may be of an assistance? Prefer Melb, but since I'll be in Canberra on Feb 18...

Didn't know Automotive Surplus dealt with Pommy stuff. They are opposite the knock shop. Club 25. Used to deliver pizzas there and leave with a big smile on my face.

That still applies. All I will say is it's extremely unlikely the parts wil be available new. And it has nothing to do with the driveline. Do you have some Vauxhall parts floating around?

Normally I don't aim for the balls when I'm holding a sawn off .22 shotty. About 10 inches higher is the first place I aim at.

I'd be quite happy to assist anyone dismantling a Vauxhall...

Don't know of anyone out this way (prob too far at any rate) but Olden64 might know of somewhere. Long shot but that's about all I can suggest.
