what distributor to use

my car is not launching off the the line anymore now that i put 48/88 cam in my 202 red and changed my head it was running a low compression head but i now have high compression still running stock points distributor any good choices i should know about. i think it needs more spark . cheers

I used a electronic distributor(regraphed) off a vh on my old 40/80 cammed 202 bushpig,it easily revved to 7000rpm.Didnt have any problems with it.

Is your carby big enough to "feed" the cam?

probably not its only a 350 holley jetted out but i think its getting enough because it seems to be running rich blowing clouds of smoke under acceleration, its really quick after 3000rpm i just want to over come bogging down on the line

Sounds like its bogging down due to excess fuel.
