LC/LJ Tare Weight?

Hey

Just wondering what the tare weight of a 2 door LC/LJ is.
Does anyone have their rego papers handy to have a quick look for me?

Do you remember what the thread was titled?

Would certainly make it a little easier for me

EDIT :
Found the thread.. it says around 1020kg for an LC.

It doesn't specify 2 or 4 door.

And I'd like to know if it differs for LJ's.

I need to know so I can work out the biggest engine I'm allowed to put in legally in NSW.

For those who want to know, it's 'tare weight x .333 = max Cubic Inches'

the kerb weight is 2 door 2232lb.
4 door 2310lb estimated

2232lb = 1012Kg
2310lb = 1047Kg

Which is pretty light, I wonder how much they weigh with a V8 in them?
So basically the weight difference btw a 202 and a 308/253 and a chassie kit and bigger brakes, whould you say annother 100Kg?

I have seen on a rego sticker of a white Brisbane built xu1 having a weight of only 850kg. Being that the the Xu-1 had the big tank and tripples I could not see how this was possible and had another look to confirm and yes, the rego sticker said 850kg. On my rego sticker, the weight is 1050kg. Anyone let me know if this is right.

From what i have read the SL was the heaviest of all LC/J Toranas weighing in around 1050. The XU-1 was supposed to be around 1035 or something. The LC Workshop manual (and i assume the LJ Supplement) give the approximate weights, but this will variey from car to car depending on options are fitted.
