Looking for an inlet manifold to suit VN heads, the redlines are usually cheaper S/H but are they as good?

There's a reason that they are cheaper 2nd hand...
And also a reason there are very few Harrops for sale 2nd hand. ;)

If this is a street only rig the Redline is OK value, but expect more than about 400hp and your money is better spent on the Harrop or Torque Power.

Are you talking about the dual plane Harrop or the single because Active also make a single but it is slightly inferior to the Harrop. If your not chasing numbers though it will be cheaper second hand.

if its power you are after go the harrop single plane manifold, very nice and well finished manifold and capable of big power

I'd say that the harrop singleplane would no doubt be a great manifold but not really the greatest manifold for the street. With a power range in something like 4500-6500RPM you will hav a bit of a hole in the areas you would use most in up and down street driving.

That being said, I would love to swap my Harrop dual plane for a single plane if it became less of a street car :D

Peace,
