if you are talking about the store at Bowen hills/the valley I agree they are useless. I dont know how many times I have ordered stuff and it never arrives, or they sell it to someone els the day it arrives or dont ring me to tell me something has arrived. they are rather shite.

yeah that one . i ordered a rear window rust section. rang 2 weeks later as they hadnt rang me in a week like they said when it arrived, the bloke that answered the pone said yeah its here so i jumped in the car drove in there to find out they hadnt even ordered it. hour and half round trip for nothing. ever since then i use interstate rarespare distributors. after speeking to other torrie enthusists they too have recieved the same service from this store.

We had problems with them years ago when we did the GTR. We ordered a full rubber kit and a floor pan. Yeah we have the floor pan in stock and some of the rubbers we will put them aside, two weeks latter the panel beater needs the floor pan to continue progress on the car, apparently they didnt even have the parts in stock(and never did under their own admission). We ended up going to harisons for the rubbers and my panel guy made his own replica floor pan.

I am now building an EH and having the exact same problems with them. I ring Harrisons about four new floor pans on tuesday they ring me back Tursday, come get your floors they have arrived. I dont think I will be bothering with the guys at bowen hills anymore. Ity was just convineint as I work two minutes around the corner. oh yeah when they did actually get me a part in it was the wrong side. go figure. and the phone thing they must always be busy because everytime I have rang they have had to ask me to hold for five minutes before they come back.

That is your choice you are free to buy from anyone who gives you good service, but remember that if you buy online through GMH-Torana it helps this site and its not serviced out of Brisbane.

Well you no i dont shop there... actually i dont shop at all at rare spares.... however i did when i was in sydney and it was great

i think they need to start listening

Only proble with buying stuff of the gmh torana online store is that I am now building an EH and last time I looked at the store it only listed Torrie stuff.

If I was Rare Spares I would be worried!

surely numerous stories would make you want to do something about it! after all they are the face of your company in brisbane!

The old bloke should have retired long ago !!!
