Thanks, once again, for replying Dangerous.
Just to be sure I understand what youve said, in summary you are saying, that "the coil near basically releases all its energy over any spark plug gap its able to leap across and that there would be negligble difference in the primary current req(load on coil) on an electronic ign for large or small gaps"
