This is for all the transmission techs or anyone who can help.

Got a shift kitted TH350 behind my 308 in LH, im trying to setup the cable kickdown but cant seem to get it to change down when i stand on it. Tried adjusting the cable forward then back, still doesnt kick down unless i do it manually.

Help needed plz

take the cable off at the end where it bolts to the throttle linkages...pull it until you can feel the slack has gone...can you bolt it up now?...you have to get rid of the slack somehow.

as in the slack before it starts to pull on the cable. wat is the correct way to have it. was told at 1/2 to 3/4, cable shood be at full stretch to kick down. True or False.
