just enquired about insurance on the ss with shannons today and was suprised with how cheap it is .m y hatch lives in the shed awaiting the minute i finish building the house and can get stuck into it no distractions!and 4 $160 its fully comped with agreed value even on the back of a tow truck or repair shop so long as it isnt being driven.it was nice 4 a change to speak to someone who knew what is was and didnt ask if it was over 10 years old.just wondering if anyone else had dealt with shannons and after some feedback ,be itgood or bad <_<

They call it laid up insurance. They will insure my drag car for an agreed value. Cover is valid unless the vehicle is moving under it's own power. If it's getting winched onto the trailer and something goes wrong, it's covered. If I drive it onto the trailer, it's not covered.

Yeah, I've got mine insured with them as well, very happy with the service and price....

If i damage it on the track, thats my fault, but I just couldnt handle it getting stolen and ending up with nothing...

I recently updated my policy and was really surprised at how little extra it cost me considering the value of the car, very happy.

I've been to your place to pick up some flares. I can see how bushfires would worry you. BTW, how's the panel van coming along?

Got my Torrie with them. 8,000k limited, $12k value (should up that), salvage rights, bout $360.

Once you have a classic with them, they are happy to insure your dailies as well, so got all them with them now, and they are cheaper than who I was with before as well.

Considering moving the house and contents over to them this year as well. Always found em very pleasant to deal with, and seem genuinely interested in our cars and how much we care for em. The also help the Club out heaps, as their reps go to most of the car shows, so really good feedback is offered.

Yeah I reckon Shannon's are good too. Got both my Torana's insured with them now. Since I never used to have insurance though, I'm only rating 3, but that will come down quick enough and hopefully the cost will too. Shannon's are certainly enthusiasts, here in Vic they attend heaps of the car shows and events...
